Submit a peer civic site

Run a small, source-cited, no-tracker civic-action site under your own brand? Tell us about it. Submissions are auto-vetted and provisionally listed; a maintainer reviews periodically.

  • All peer submissions are auto-vetted (HTTPS reachable, license declared, distinct domain) and provisionally listed. A maintainer reviews periodically; provisional listings can be removed without notice.
  • Different brand, different domain. Per the README's "rename your fork" rule, peers do not present themselves as actsmall.org or any look-alike. If a derivative tried, the auto-vetter would reject it.
  • Inclusion is not endorsement of every page on the peer site. A listing is a maintainer's statement that the peer follows a comparable trust posture (named sources, no third-party trackers, no paid placements), nothing more.
  • Nothing is collected from this form unless you fill it in. No cookies, no analytics on this page, no draft auto-save. Close the tab and nothing is sent.

Peers are listed in site-shared/data/peers.json in the maintainer source tree. The repository is not public; this form (or an email to submissions@actsmall.org) is the path in.

Your peer site

HTTPS only. The auto-vetter HEAD-checks the URL before listing.

Free-form; common values are suggested. The peer's content license — what governs reuse of the peer's text/data, not the code that runs the site.

Lowercase or uppercase, both accepted. Leave blank if genuinely worldwide and you'd rather we infer it.

Topic overlap

Tick the ActSmall topics your site overlaps with. Leave all unticked if the peer is general-civic.

0 / 30 minimum

Single line. Leave blank to stay anonymous; the peer URL itself is enough for a maintainer to reach you.

On submit we build a small JSON payload and either (a) POST it same-origin to the auto-vetter if the deploy has one configured, or (b) open your mail client with the same payload pre-filled so you can review the wording before sending to submissions@actsmall.org. The form never POSTs to a third-party service; there is no Formspree, Typeform, Google Forms, or analytics on this page.

What happens after you submit

  1. The auto-vetter HEAD-requests your URL, confirms the license is non-empty, and confirms the domain is distinct from actsmall.org and recognised look-alikes.
  2. If all three pass, your entry is appended to the runtime peers manifest with status provisional and shown on /peers/. The static seed in the source repository is unchanged.
  3. A maintainer reviews the provisional list periodically. Verified entries are kept; uncertain ones can be removed without notice. There is no automated discovery and no scheduled SLA.
  4. Removed or rejected? You will usually not hear back. Reviewers prioritise editorial throughput over reply throughput; please don't take silence personally.
